Mo Dabre and Jayden Harris are both raring to go ahead of Sutton’s trip to York City on opening day, with Steve Morison providing a fitness update ahead of the long trip up north.

“All the lads are fine” said the Head Coach, “We’ve had we’ve had most people training all the time. Henry [Sandat] missed a couple of days training, he’s had a bit of a a stomach bug and Mo [Dabre] took a little bit of a knock in training the other day.”

Dabre is yet to feature in amber and chocolate in pre-season after joining from Tonbridge Angels in the summer, but could appear for the first time on Saturday, having recovered from his knock and has taken part in training this week.

Harris meanwhile has been on the long road to recovery, having picked up a season-ending Achilles injury back in November. The midfielder, who joined from Carlisle United in the summer of 2024, has been continuing his rehab throughout the summer and made his return to action in Sutton’s opening pre-season friendly against Wycombe Wanderers.

He continued to feature throughout pre-season, and despite taking a knock that saw him leave the pitch against Millwall, Harris is back fit and could make his first competitive appearance in almost a year against York.
