Away End

Gateshead FC have played at the International Stadium since moving from Redheugh Park during the 1971/72 season. An all-seated venue, the International Stadium boasts a capacity of 11,800.

Home fans are housed in the most modern stand, the Tyne & Wear Main Stand, which holds 3,227 supporters. There is a large café/bar area on this side as well as corporate facilities.

The opposite side of the ground is where away supporters will be located, the 4,044-capacity East Stand.

There is one long curving stand behind one of the goals, and two separate ones behind the other, but none of these are in use for football matches.

To access the East Stand, fans will enter through Gate 21 on Neilson Road, cross the all-weather pitches, then climb a stone staircase to the side of the East Stand. Any fans with accessibility issues will be directed to an alternative route. Gates will also open at 6:15pm.

Supporters will have access to food inside the ground but will not have access to alcohol inside the ground as the servery is in view of the pitch.

Flags are allowed but must be hung as directed by stewards. Drums and other musical instruments will not be allowed.

Doors open from 1:30pm.

Wheelchair & Ambulant Disabled

Gateshead FC is proud to welcome supporters from all backgrounds to Gateshead International Stadium, and pride ourselves on providing a match day experience that is accessible and enjoyable to all.

Supporters with disabilities and accessibility issues are able to use the dedicated balcony overlooking the pitch at Gateshead International Stadium on match day.

The balcony is accessed by entering through the main reception and using the lift located opposite the main desk, before heading through the doors to the left and entering the corridor adjacent to room nine to reach the balcony. Stewards will be on hand throughout the concourse should assistance be required.

Tickets can either be purchased on the gate or via our online ticketing platform, though we recommend purchasing online for ease of entry on match day.

Supporters should purchase tickets under the relevant age bracket, and there is also a carer option which permits entry free of charge. Carers will be required to bring identification with them, such as a Blue Badge or a letter proving their carer status.

Tickets purchased online are not posted to supporters and must be either printed at home or shown on a smartphone upon entry.

Carer tickets can be added after checking out with the initial ticket.
