Supporters making the trip to the VBS Community Stadium today for our Enterprise National League match against Morecambe should be aware of the following travel information which have come up in the last hour.
There is a fault with the signalling system at Tulse Hill, with trains unable to run through this area until further notice. Services will be subject to delays, changes or cancellations.
Trains currently running between St Albans and Wimbledon/Sutton may be terminated at short notice and start from a different station than scheduled.
Tickets will be accepted on the follow alternative operators, at no extra cost:
- Alternative Thameslink or Southern services to your destination
- South Western Railway services between Wimbledon and London Waterloo via Clapham Junction
- London Underground towards your destination, including between London terminals
- TfL buses on routes between central London, Tulse Hill, and Sutton/East Croydon
- Tramlink services between Wimbledon, Mitcham Junction, West Croydon, and East Croydon.
Additional service changes have also been confirmed:
- Trains from St Albans to Sutton via Wimbledon will be reduced to hourly and terminate at Elephant & Castle
- Trains from St Albans to Sutton via Mitcham Junction are suspended until further notice
- Trains between Luton and Rainham will call additionally at all stations between London and Luton.
As such, we advise supporters to allow plenty of time to plan alternative routes to SM1 this afternoon.
