An exciting opportunity has become available at Sutton United Football Club on a volunteer basis, within the Media & Communications team.
We are seeking to recruit a Programme Contributor to help with the production of the club’s official matchday programme, providing content that informs, entertains, and connects supporters to the team and the wider football community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and write engaging content for the club’s matchday programme
- Work with the Head of Media to meet submission deadlines ahead of each home fixture
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and a tone that reflects the club’s values
Essentials:
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines reliably
- Organised and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate
Desirable:
- Knowledge and passion for football
- Creative flair to make articles engaging for readers of all ages
- Previous experience writing for publications, blogs, or media outlets
- Basic understanding of layout/design for digital formats
