Women: Combined Counties League Cup Third Round Draw

Sutton United Women will host Dartford in the Combined Counties League Cup Third Round.

The tie will take place at the VBS Community Stadium on Wednesday, 15th April (7:45pm KO), will ticket details to be confirmed in due course.

The U’s have previously overcome Chessington & Hook United and Richmond & Key in the last two rounds, notably against the former with a superb 11-1 win at Chalky Lane.

Goals from Brianna Gilbert-Lawal, Phoebe Langley, Rebecca Olomudeji (2), Sarah Chapman (2), Tessa Ciccardini (3), Cassie Chase and Ella Khaldoun kicked off the campaign in style, before a closer fought contest at River Patches saw goals from Amy Warren, Miller Cutler and Ciccardini (2) seal a 4-3 win over Richmond.

Dartford meanwhile began their campaign with a 4-0 win over AFC Croydon Athletic, having received a bye in the First Round, and will return to South London to take on the U’s after last visiting in November, where a K’Shaela Burch-Waldron goal sealed a narrow victory for Lucy Clark’s side.
