Sutton United Women have been drawn at home to Chatham Town in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Third Round.

The U’s progressed to this stage of the competition for the first time, with Beth Humphries paving the way for a Milly Cutler brace to secure a historic win over Bowers & Pitsea.

For Chatham, Simone Eligon proved to be the shootout hero as they produced another upset with victory over Exeter City, twice coming from behind on the road thanks to two stunning long-range efforts from Ellie Jeffkins to draw 2-2.

Having beaten tier three’s AFC Wimbledon on penalties in the first round proper, they once more defeated a side in the division above in the shootout, winning 4-3 as Eligon produced two excellent saves to put their name in the hat for the third round.

The Third Round will take place on Sunday, 14th December.
