With this Sunday’s match between Sutton United Women and Brentford Women set to take place at the VBS Community Stadium, we are looking to recruit volunteers to assist our matchday operations.

  • Turnstile Operators: This role is customer facing and often the first interaction visitors get at the stadium. Tickets are available for supporters to purchase at the turnstiles so volunteers will be required to handle card payments. Turnstile operators will typically operate in pairs.
  • Car Park Steward: Assisting in managing traffic flow and ensuring a safe, organised parking experience for supporters on matchdays. Responsibilities include directing vehicles, guiding pedestrians, monitoring designated parking areas, and providing friendly assistance or information to visitors arriving at the ground.
  • Tunnel Steward: Supporting the smooth operation of the player and officials’ tunnel area before, during, and after matches. Duties may include guiding players and match officials, ensuring only authorised personnel access the area, helping coordinate timings, and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment close to the pitch.

Please contact tim.allison@suttonunited.net if interested.
