New manager Jamie De Cruz began the Ryman Youth League team’s training last week and the team has a varied pre-season friendly schedule lined up over the next few weeks in anticipation of the League season starting week commencing 22nd August. League fixtures will be announced later this month. Pre-season matches confirmed so far are: Monday 11th July v Pick Up Academy (7.45pm kick-off at Gander Green Lane) Wednesday 20th July v Sandhurst Town (7.45pm kick-off at Gander Green Lane) Friday 22nd July v Fulham U16s (2.00pm kick-off at Gander Green Lane) Tuesday 26th July v Crystal Palace U16s (7.30pm kick-off at Gander Green Lane) Thursday 4th August v Aldershot Town (6pm kick-off at Aldershot training ground) Monday 15th August v Corinthian (7.45pm kick-off at Gander Green Lane) Entry to the above home friendlies is free for all Season Ticket Holders, £2 for adults and free for all concessions. Meanwhile, we have been given exemption to the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup courtesy of the club’s new National League status and will enter the competition week commencing 3rd October.
