A huge football fan who still humbles himself every week in adult leagues in the US, Ben lives in Atlanta, Georgia and brings a wealth of business experience and acumen to the team. His background is in property, with a focus on commercial real estate; he helped to set up a company in his mid-twenties and has seen it grow with over 100 people now employed in the business.  A staunch family man – he has been married for 16 years and has three sons…and two dogs – Ben is extremely active in his local community and recognises how important football clubs are in that regard and has admired from afar the work we all do at Sutton United. He also holds a Board seat at Restavek Freedom and an Executive Board position at Southern Methodist University. 

Of his appointment to the Board at Sutton United, Ben remarked:  ” I have spent considerable time immersing myself in the history and culture of this great football club; it has an amazing heritage, ethos and identity, something which very much attracted me to the club in the first place. I have also very much appreciated the extremely warm welcome I have received from everyone I have met and spoken to during all our discussions over several months. This club has grown exponentially in the last couple of years and is on a simply amazing journey, and I feel privileged  to join this team of such dedicated, hard-working people. There is a huge sense of unity in the club and I will be looking to help the team by bringing some new and innovative ideas to support  all the tremendous work which goes on daily throughout the club as we look to write the next chapters in our rich history and look to inspire this and the next generation of U’s fans.”
 
We accord Ben the usual warm Sutton United welcome and very much look forward to him joining the team.
