The club is delighted to announce a partnership with Interserve, one of the UK’s largest providers of building services and facilities management, to provide a purpose-built accessible toilet for the use of persons with a disability. Interserve have kindly made available the sum of £3,000 from their Corporate Responsibility programme and, without their generosity, it would have been difficult if not impossible to bring this project to fruition. The new facility is situated off the main foyer, adjacent to the first aid room, and will meet relevant DDA requirements and be controlled by a universal "radar" key. Dave Mathers, the club director responsible for overseeing this summer’s refurbishment programme, commented "We are extremely grateful to the Interserve Employee Foundation and to the staff from the Interserve Special Events Met Police Contract for their help. In particular Junior Nero, who controlled the rest of the staff who assisted in the operation, and to former Supporters’ Club Chairwoman Alison Denyer for submitting the project for funding, without their support we would not have been able to do this at this time." Alison and her manager also volunteered in their own time to help paint the existing toilets to the foyer, and we would like to them very much for their help.
