It will contain all the usual information such as the manager’s thoughts in the build up to the game, travel details, team and divisional statistics, and Mark Frake’s insightful look back through history – this season he’s looking at grounds we’ve visited that no longer exist, a nice twist given the plethora of new places we’ll get to see this season.

We’re also hoping to add more of Paul Loughlin’s cracking match photos, more details on opposition, player interviews, increased use of articles from supporters, and a Dream XI from some of our past players and long-standing fans (wonder who Joycey would pick in goal?).

We will monitor sales, as it is still costly to produce a programme, but aim to keep the price the same as previous seasons – at £3 per issue (likely to be around 50-pages). That said, issue one – our first ever home game in the EFL – is likely to be a bumper 80-pages (and priced at £4 to cover the increased production costs).

If you can’t get to games but want to subscribe to the programme, we’ll soon announce full details on how to purchase a subscription package.

Help wanted – if you would like to help by conducting a player interview for inclusion in the programme – email Lyall, the editor, at suttoneditor@hotmail.com  Ideally we see this as an “alternative” view and something different, rather than the typical pre/post-match interviews.

We’re excited to see fans back, and the sight of everyone enjoying their full matchday experience with pie in one hand, programme in the other is the dream… Ideas, suggestions, feedback and comments welcomed.
