Frankie Deegan

Frankie Deegan joined Sutton in October 2025, becoming the third member of staff to follow Chris Agutter to Sutton after the appointments of Ben Cornelius and Dean Hammond.
A graduate of the University of Brighton, Deegan spent three months at Hastings United as an intern where he gained crucial experience within semi-professional football, with the U’s ending the campaign with a seventh place finish in the Isthmian Premier Division and a first appearance in the Sussex Senior Cup Final in 24 years.
He then reunited with Agutter after the Head Coach’s move to Worthing and played a role in the Rebels’ charge towards promotion, which ultimately came to an end on the final day of the season despite a 5-1 win over Enfield Town to secure a record-breaking points tally, with Truro City ultimately coming out on top.
The 22-year old then took on his first full-time role with a move to Sutton after departing Worthing in the summer of 2025, replacing Sean Miles in the dugout.
