Sutton’s pre-season preparations are ramping up, and will see them host National League South side Horsham on Saturday, 25th July (3pm KO).
The Hornets make the trip from West Sussex in the penultimate pre-season friendly of July, shaping up for their second ever campaign at sixth tier level having been promoted from the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2025.
The U’s have faced Horsham on several occasions competitivley, last doing so in 2023, with goals from Dion Pereira (2) and Omari Patrick sending Sutton through to the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup, in which was also Jon Meeney’s first match on the touchline at Gander Green Lane, becoming First Team Coach in South London less than a year later.
