Plymouth, who were beaten semi finalists in 1984, are currently in 16th place in the Championship having amassed 101 points in winning the League One championship last season.

The game will be played at Home Park over the weekend of Saturday 6 January.

The teams have never met at senior level, although our respective academy sides were due to meet yesterday in the EFL Youth Alliance League Cup, a game that was postponed and is due to be rearranged.
