Two teams of supporters went head-to-head on the hallowed turf of Gander Green Lane, one team managed by Academy Manager Jimmy Dack and the other by supporter Nick the Greek.
The honour at stake, the opportunity to be the first team to lift the “brickware” (below) made from an authentic part of the Shoebox Terrace, a much missed feature of the ground, demolished following our promotion to the EFL to meet ground regulations.
It was a tightly fought game, with Team Dack going 0-1 up in the first with a goal courtesy of Billy Bradshaw. Team Greek then equalised in the second half with a goal from Mat Sullivan, but the hero of the game, Stuart Scott, bagged Team Dack’s second to secure the win and the trophy.
It was a great afternoon, and was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the afternoon, both on and off the pitch.

Well done on your win Team Dack.
Until next year!
