The friends from Lancashire have set out to run 1km around all 92 Premier League and EFL grounds to raise money for local children’s hospitals after Hughie was treated for leukaemia at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in 2020. They will then do the same around eight other stadia to make the total distance up to 100km.

This weekend they were at Sutton to run 1km around the pitch on Saturday before moving on to Brighton and Crawley on Sunday, raising money for the Royal Marsden Hospital with the amount raised over the weekend already coming close to £1,000.
