Luton Town winger Dion Pereira has joined on loan until the end of the season.
24-year-old Dion began his career with his home town club Watford, making two senior appearances, before spending a year with MLS side Atlanta United. On his return to England in 2020 he signed for Luton, and he has had subsequent loan spells with Yeovil and Bradford City, the latter for the end of the 2021-22 season, when he played in their 4-1 win at Sutton, and the whole of last season. We welcome Dion to the club. He will have squad number 18.
We also welcome back the familiar face and hands of Dean Bouzanis, who has rejoined us on loan until January from Reading. Dean made 108 appearances in his first spell at the club between 2020 and 2022 and of course was a crucial part of our National League success and our first season in the EFL, starring in penalty shoot-outs against Stevenage (above) and Wigan in our run to the EFL Trophy Final. Dean will have number 21.
Going in the opposite direction, defender Tobi Ogundega has joined Bognor Regis Town on loan and is expected to feature in the FA Cup this weekend against Burgess Hill, whose side could include Jack Taylor.
Matt will discuss these moves in his usual pre-weekend interview later on Friday.
