It’s the second time in three months that Matt has been among the nominations, this time included after a month where U’s took eleven points from five unbeaten games including wins over Swindon, Doncaster and Newport. Two managers who were alongside Matt on the December shortlist, Leyton Orient’s Richie Wellens and Dave Challinor of Stockport, are again nominated, with Bradford City manager Mark Hughes completing the list from whom a winner will be chosen by a judging panel and announced on Friday 10 March.
