Jamie Collins was named Sutton United Player of the Year at the annual presentation evening which followed the game against Chester yesterday. Roarie Deacon received the Supporters’ Club award and the Players’ Player of the Year, as well as the SUFCtv Goal of the Season trophy for his equalising goal in the FA Cup replay at AFC Wimbledon, while Adam May was the Young Player of the Year.
The photos in this article, and most other articles on the website and the match programme, are taken by Paul Loughlin, whose consistently excellent work saw him named Clubman of the Year.
There were also a number of awards for the successful Community Teams. The U’s team Player of the Year was Mark Heritage, and the Elite team award went to Ben Wilson, who was also the Elite Team Players’ Player of the Year, an award which went to Darren Rose in the U’s team. Other winners were Bradley Dixon (Community Team Clubman) and Shaun Mills(Golden Boot).
The youth team awards went to Jamie Blanco (Player of the Year) and Jean-Luc Kinsaba (Most Improved Player).
