The damage was done in a twenty minute spell in the first half after Sutton had matched the hosts for the first quarter of an hour. Then a long through ball evaded Zoe McNulty allowing home skipper Gemma Worsfold to score in to an empty net, and the same player added a second from the penalty spot, with Chloe Winchester and Sammy Quayle also on target before the interval. Rebecca Bell and Georgia Tibble scored in the second half as Worthing saw out a comfortable victory.
Sutton’s last game of the season is at Aylesford next Sunday, kick off 3.30pm at Aylesford Recreation Ground.
