Sutton finished the season with a seventh consecutive victory as Tom Bolarinwa's first half goal earned success at Oxford City. It was U's 26th league game unbeaten and a fifth clean sheet in a row, with Denzel Gerrar making his debut in goal. Much of the rest of the game had an end of season feel to it but there was a party mood off the pitch as the supporters celebrated finishing top of the table, six points clear of runners-up Ebbsfleet.
