We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new director to the board of Sutton United Football Club Ltd. Pat Carr bears a name that needs no introduction to Sutton fans, it is woven into the fabric of the club. Ralph Carr is a club legend for his many years devoted to the club as a top-class goalkeeper and later as manager, director and club secretary, so we are very pleased to welcome his daughter Patricia onto the board to maintain the family connection. Pat works in the music industry and has a strong marketing background and will, in particular, develop and coordinate our on-line presence and marketing approach. Dave Farebrother is pleased to have strengthened the team. "I have known Pat for many years and am delighted that she accepted the invitation to become a director and I am confident that she will bring new skills and a different perspective to the board at this exciting time as we strive to develop and improve the club for the benefit of all players and supporters. She has already hit the ground running and some of the enhancements that she is initiating will become obvious in the next few weeks."
