Sutton were forced to share the points at Aldershot after an entertaining game in which U's led twice. Louis John headed Sutton in front in the 5th minute from Josh Taylor's corner, but Bernard Mensah's well taken goal nine minutes later made it 1-1. Craig Dundas restored U's advantage with a flashing header from John's cross, but Scott Rendell cancelled that one out fro the penalty spot three minutes before half time after being fouled by Jamie Collins at a corner. In the second half Tommy Wright hit the bar and both Dean Beckwith, returning to the starting line up, and Ross Lafayette missed good chances as U's played some of their best football of the season, but they were unable to force a winner.
