Sutton recorded a comfortable 4-0 win in the game to mark the opening of the renovated Meadowbank Stadium, with Jamie Collins and Charlie Clough both scoring with headers from Harry Beautyman free kicks in the first half, and Kieron Cadogan adding a third early in the second half before home skipper David Ray turned the ball in to his own net. There was a late setback when Tom Bolarinwa was sent off for a foul which sparked a brawl that included just about every player on the pitch, although the FA have confirmed that Bolarinwa's suspension will just cover the next friendly and he will miss just this Saturday's game against Chelsea Under 23s.
