The first of two 2020/21 season tickets was won by the “Mark Watson Fan Club” syndicate - Brian Waite, Nick Williams and Fred Knopp will be getting their heads together working out how they'll divide that up between them!
Then the regular - in so far as the SAK draw can ever be described as “regular”! - fourteenth draw of the season took place and it was the turn of ball 11, owned by Phil White, to make an appearance.
Recent goalscoring exploits had swelled the safe's contents to £700 and Phil strode confidently to the SAK stage....alas to no avail. He chose the wrong key and had to make do with the £50 consolation prize.
It all means that a minimum of £900 will be up for grabs (and another 2020/21 season ticket) after the New Year's Day return fixture v Woking.
