From The Boardroom - 15

3 July 2020

It has been a busier period again over the last week.  With the Government relaxing some of the rules around what is and isn't permitted, we have been reviewing our operations to see what may be possible in terms of a limited return to business.  Guidance issued to the music industry shows that we are not in a position to recommence The Boom Boom Club yet and even opening even one of our bars is not currently viable, although we do maintain a watching brief in case changes in circumstances provide us with an opportunity. However we are now able to offer the MBA Lounge for hire, subject to a number of caveats and strict implementation of operational guidelines.

Adrian Barry is representing us as a member of a working party of clubs reviewing the desirability and feasibility of introducing a wage cap into the National League, but it is still early days for those discussions.

Academy recruitment is in full swing and they have worked with our comms team to put together a great promotional video, it is worth taking a few minutes to watch. Link

Season Ticket sales have reached 400, thank you, and as you may have seen on our website and social media channels we have agreed to extend the Early Bird deadline again, to the end of July.

We have now found our senior car park steward for next season but if you would like to offer your services as the car park manager please get in touch.

Stay Safe and please follow the Government's latest rules and guidelines on social distancing.
