Sutton have been drawn in a highly attractive group for the first round of the Papa John's Trophy. U's will face AFC Wimbledon and Portsmouth from League One, plus the Crystal Palace Under 21 side, with one Premier League Under 21 side placed in each of the sixteen groups. U's will play Palace and one of the EFL sides at home. Exact fixture details will follow, but the games are scheduled for the weeks of 30 August, 4 October and 8 November.
