Sutton United Academy are pleased to announce Roman Charles-Cook has joined South Park FC on work experience for an initial period of 4 weeks.
Roman, a second year Scholar, has been in fine form this season for the Under 18 team in the EFL Youth Alliance and FA Youth Cup, and was also involved in last season's memorable FA Youth Cup run which ended with a game against Liverpool.
Roman played the full 90 minutes for South Park in Saturday's Isthmian League South Central fixture against Staines Town which finished 0-0.
Head of Coaching at the Academy, Rick Wellard, said: “This is a great opportunity for Roman to gain First Team experience which will challenge him against senior players at a competitive level. We wish Roman well and look forward to seeing him develop further”.
Meanwhile this weekend's EFL Youth Alliance Merit League Two game against Newport County has been brought forward to Friday 4 March and will be played at Walton Casuals FC, kick off 2pm.
