The Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Shipp as joint manager with Will Letts of the Women’s First Team.
Steve is an excellent coach who also has a distinguished track record in player recruitment and development. Steve and Will are very excited about how they are going to take the women’s first team forward whilst building a sustainable pathway for developing the best young talent through the section.
On the appointment Will said “We have worked very hard to secure the appointment of Steve and it is a real coup for the club to be able to recruit someone with his experience and football knowledge. I’m really looking forward to working with Shippy, in what is and will be a very exciting time for the Women’s first team.”
The season continues on Sunday with an away game at Ebbsfleet United in the London & South East Regional League, kick off 3pm at the Kuflink Stadium in Stonebridge Road, admission £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Our reserve and Under 21 sides are both in Surrey Divisional Cup action on Sunday, the reserves away to Guildford City at Horsley FC, and the Under 21s at home to Reigate in Collingwood Recreation Ground. Both kick off at 2pm.
