Gillingham ticket and travel information

27 September 2022

On Saturday we make our first senior league visit to Gillingham for a Sky Bet League Two game. We will be wearing all amber. Ticket and travel information is below.

Tickets: Tickets are only available on line but can be bought right up to kick off time. There will be no phone sales or in person sales, even on the day of the game. The only exception is for ambulant disabled/wheelchair users and PA (those that have Higher/Enhanced Rate DLA/PIP) whose E-Tickets MUST be purchased over the phone. The ticket office number for these purchases is 01634 300 000 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm)

Prices are: Adults £22, Seniors (age 65 and over) £19; Young Adult (age 18-21) £14; Under 18 £10; Under 14 free with full paying adult. Tickets can be bought on this link, and there is a guide to using Gillingham's on line ticket system here. Our accommodation is in the Upper Brian Moore Stand, behind the goal to the left of the plan in picture 2, rather than where the 'click' icon is shown on the example. When your purchase has been made a confirmation email will be sent to the address provided on the order, and you can choose to have an eticket saved to your phone or a PDF printable ticket.

Please note that the Brian Moore stand is uncovered, and that the MEMS Priestfield Stadium is a cashless venue, so any payments must be by card.

Travel: The scheduled rail strike means that there are no trains through Gillingham on Saturday and so it is not possible to do the trip by train.

There are a few places still available on the supporters' coach, which leaves the VBS at 11.15am (please arrive 15 minutes before departure). The return fare is £15. To book, contact John Parsons on email johnparsons092@gmail.com or text 07989 261929 (please confirm your name when texting) between 8.00am and 6.00pm ONLY.

Those travelling by car should leave the M2 at junction 1 and take the A289, following signs to, and then going through, the Medway Tunnel. Continue on the A289 across two sets of traffic lights then take the third exit at The Strand roundabout, turning in to Church Street. Continue up the hill and across the level crossing, and the turnings to the ground are then on the left. The ground postcode is ME7 2PE. There is no on site parking, and street parking immediately around the ground is restricted to permit holders. Woodlands School (ME7 2DU) offers parking at £5 on a first come first served basis from 1.30pm, and street parking may be available in roads in that area, about a 10-15 minute walk from the ground.
