Sutton's academy side moved back up to fourth place in the EFL Youth Alliance South East division with a convincing win against Cambridge United at Bedfont.
In a game brought forward from next Tuesday, Cambridge went close to taking the lead on the half hour with a shot that hit the post but U's went in front four minutes later when Daniel Olabiyi took advantage of a defensive mix-up. Olabiyi was denied a second by the crossbar in the second half, but by then Matthew Nwanekezie had made it 2-0, and the same player completed the scoring with ten minutes to go.
The academy side are next in action on Saturday week away to Southend United.
