Welcome Deon Moore

18 January 2024

Steve Morison has continued his transfer dealings this week with the addition to the squad of Deon Moore from Isthmian League Lewes, having been impressed with the striker in his games against Hornchurch this season.

Born in Croydon, the 24-year-old is a former Carshalton Athletic youth player who played at first team level for Peterborough United at the age of 17 and also appeared for Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy. At non-league level he has played for Merstham, Bath and Hemel Hempstead before joining Lewes at the beginning of last season, scoring thirteen goals in 67 appearances for the Sussex club. He made his debut for Guyana in the summer and scored his first international goal in October.

We welcome Deon to the club - despite appearances to the contrary in the above photo he will have the squad number 27.

You can see Deon's first interview with the club here

Steve discusses this and the other additions to the squad in his pre-match interview which will be available on Friday morning.
